lay one brick at a time.

one summer his dad tore down a brick wall infront of his business, and told 12-year old will and his 9-year old brother to re-build it. a job they said was impossible... it took them a year and a half, but they did it.

"and he said, now don't you ever tell me, there's something that you can't do."

you don't try to build a wall. you don't set out to build a wall. you don't say i'm gonna build the biggest, baddest, greatest wall that's ever been built. you don't start there. you say, i'm gonna lay this brick as perfectly as a brick can be laid and you do that every single day and soon you have a wall.

the cure for boredom is curiosity.
there is no cure for curiosity. - dorothy parker

write a love letter.
do one small thing to make yourself wealthier.
write a blog post.
do an errand.
update your personal finances.
meditate at your desk.

art is my hustle.

success is my destiny!

time for change.

woke up this morning and DECIDED that i am making changes. changes? yes. i tend to spoil everyone else all the time. it's what i do and it's what makes me happy, but part of that involves putting myself second... why? cos i never spoil myself.

time to make a few changes.

i need routine. no, not drill sergeant you-have-to-be-in-bed-by-eight type of stuff, but focusing on myself and what i want in life. if you're constantly putting yourself second, then how in the world do you think you'll be able to EVER get what you really want?

today's to do list: hearts, new moleskine collection, clean-up! get rid of clutter that keeps you from moving forward (yes, it can be old magazines too).

yay! let's do it.

oh! please remember to donate water.
yes, you can actually do that.

thankyouverymuch.

there is hope.

this should not be happening. war and everything that goes along with it, but looking at this photo somehow says that there is light at the end of the tunnel. there is still hope.

our to do list.

living with integrity means:

not settling for less than what you know you deserve in your relationships.

asking for what you want and need from others.

speaking your truth, even though it might create conflict or tension.

behaving in ways that are in harmony with your personal values.

making choices based on what you believe, and not what others believe.
